Responsibilities

  • Deliver creative improvements for engineering teams
  • Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility
  • Configure monitoring for backend services
  • Develop integrations with content management system
  • Build features and services with reliability in mind
  • Perform platform integrations using REST
  • Design and develop applications supporting software products and platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or related field
  • Five years of post-bachelors progressive related work experience
  • Experience with software systems and infrastructure
  • Experience with DB design and performance tuning for large scale database systems
  • Experience building and operating large scale cloud infrastructures
  • Experience performing platform integrations using REST
  • Experience with GIT and server technologies including NPM, Docker, NGINX, and Express/Node
  • Experience utilizing SQL databases for customer service
  • Experience with programming languages Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, and Scala
