Design and develop RESTful APIs using backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
Implement robust databases and manage data efficiently.
Design and implement security measures to protect our applications and data.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Monitor and optimize application performance.
Collaborate closely with frontend engineers and designers to translate designs into functional applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends, proposing their adoption for improved performance and security.
Contribute to the development of our engineering culture and best practices within the newly formed team.

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer with a proven track record of successful backend development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong understanding of backend frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
Experience with database technologies and data management principles.
Experience with security best practices and implementing secure applications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for backend development and building robust and scalable systems.
Experience working in a startup environment or building a new team is a plus.
Previous experience at a high-growth Indonesian startup is highly desirable*
