Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems. The role focuses on building agent workflows, integrating large language models with applications and enterprise tools, developing retrieval-augmented generation systems, and optimizing AI solutions for accuracy, scalability, latency, and cost.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems using LLMs

Build agent workflows involving planning, reasoning, tool calling, memory, and task execution

Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar

Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source models into applications

Develop RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and knowledge-based AI systems

Integrate agents with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and external tools

Implement prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails for AI agents

Optimize AI applications for accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost

Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to convert business requirements into AI solutions

Strong Python programming skills

Experience with APIs, REST services, databases, and cloud platforms

Familiarity with Git, Docker, and basic CI/CD

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
