Design, build, and implement software solutions to optimize and scale the Instacart platform
Develop highly scalable software using innovative computer science and software engineering principles
Analyze and optimize expensive SQL queries
Execute ongoing testing and analysis of current systems, including independent performance analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
Determine design solutions to problematic programming
Analyze and refine complex architectures and propose new systems to improve delivery and operational excellence
Leverage AI toolsets to accelerate development processes
Establish new standards to improve engineering quality of partner-centric products

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
2 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages
2 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems
2 years of experience with client/server architectures and application architectures
2 years of experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams
2 years of experience employing advanced AI toolsets to accelerate development processes
2 years of experience deriving insights from complex data sets
2 years of experience in the job offered or related
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
