We are seeking a Senior Vice President, POM Technical Product Manager for our Structured Debt team. This role will be located in our New York, NY & Pittsburgh, PA offices.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We seek an exceptional Senior Vice President to lead high-stakes enterprise client implementations and ongoing delivery relationships. This individual will serve as the strategic point of contact for our largest, most complex clients, owning end-to-end delivery from contract through go-live and value realization. The ideal candidate is a seasoned delivery leader with deep banking/fintech expertise, commanding executive presence, unrelenting attention to detail, and proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into business outcomes while representing the firm at the highest levels of client organizations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end client delivery relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients through implementation, go-live, and post-launch stabilization; represent the firm at executive steering committees, business reviews, and C-suite escalation calls
- Develop and execute detailed implementation plans tailored to client operational readiness; define project scope, success criteria, key milestones, and risk mitigation strategies in partnership with clients
- Manage complex project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple cross-functional internal teams (engineering, product, compliance, risk, operations); identify and resolve blockers proactively
- Demonstrate deep technical fluency in banking solutions (payments infrastructure, liquidity management, trade finance, or core banking systems); translate client business requirements into technical specifications and review implementation architecture for feasibility
- Serve as the bridge between client business and technical teams; explain technical constraints, trade-offs, and capabilities in language appropriate to each audience
- Drive stakeholder coordination across internal and external organizations; lead structured meetings with clear agendas, documented decisions, and accountable follow-through; chase stakeholders for approvals and deliverables
- Manage scope changes and scope creep; assess impact on timeline and budget; communicate changes transparently to all parties
- Lead client adoption and knowledge transfer; develop training materials, conduct training sessions, and support cutover logistics through go-live
- Monitor post-launch performance; address issues, optimize operations, and support stabilization period; identify and guide value realization for clients
- Identify upsell opportunities and expansion potential based on successful delivery and demonstrated value; partner with sales on next-phase engagements
- Maintain detailed project documentation (requirements, design decisions, risks, change logs); prepare executive summaries and business case updates for leadership
- Brief internal leadership on client health, project status, risks, and outcomes; escalate issues and recommend strategic actions as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Background
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking, fintech, or enterprise financial services delivery
- Minimum 5+ years in senior delivery lead or engagement manager role managing large, complex enterprise implementations (ideally $10M+ in scope)
- Proven track record of success delivering mission-critical banking solutions (payments, liquidity, lending, core banking, treasury, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise clients and building long-term relationships with C-suite stakeholders (CFO, COO, CIO level)
Technical & Product Knowledge
- Deep hands-on understanding of banking products and solutions (payment processing, settlement, compliance infrastructure, integration patterns, APIs)
- Strong technical fluency sufficient to credibly discuss system architecture, technical feasibility, integration approaches, and data standards with engineering teams; not necessarily a developer but technically literate
- Understanding of banking industry standards and protocols (ISO 20022, SWIFT, ACH, wire, real-time payments, regulatory requirements, data security)
- Demonstrated ability to quickly master new products and solutions; proactive in learning and staying current on firm capabilities
Communication & Leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Expert in meeting leadership

Project & Process Management
Advanced project management capabilities
fluent in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies; experienced with complex, multi-phase implementations
- Relentless follow-through and accountability; does not allow action items or deliverables to slip; proactively chases stakeholders for decisions and approvals
- Strong risk management and problem-solving skills; identifies issues early and escalates appropriately; develops mitigation strategies
- Disciplined in documentation and process; maintains detailed project records, status dashboards, and communication logs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
- Prior role at major financial institution
- Fintech or cloud-based banking platform experience
