Key responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using ReactJS and NextJS
• Create PWA apps using ReactJS
• Design and develop backend services and APIs using NodeJS and related technologies
• Implement and manage database, primarily PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
• Integrate Firebase for real-time data, authentication, and serverless functions
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility - Create unit test cases for all app functionality
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+
• Strong experience with ReactJS and its core principles
• Knowledge of SSR using NextJS
• Experience with backend development using NodeJS
• Proficiency in database management using PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Firebase for real-time data and serverless functions
• Some knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX
• Experience with authentication mechanisms such as JWT
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Good experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
