Design, implement and deliver complex, cross-cutting features and systems
Lead efforts to address technical debt and system reliability
Influence and evolve the architecture and system design
Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing coverage, and documentation
Mentor team members to support their professional growth
Drive improvements to internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems
Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making
Act as a point of escalation for complex technical challenges
Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape feature direction

5+ years of professional software development experience
Advanced proficiency in Ruby on Rails or other MVC frameworks
Experience designing and optimizing scalable data models and APIs
Familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, and Sidekiq in a production environment
Experience contributing across the full stack including front-end, back-end, and data layers
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to build or optimize product features
Ability to handle complex tasks and ambiguous problems without guidance
Understanding of business trade-offs and technical risk communication
Permanent residency and work authorization in the U.S.
