Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive large, complex projects from conception to delivery
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code across the full technology stack
  • Lead technical discussions with Product and Design teams to architect solutions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers
  • Define, evolve, and champion coding standards, best practices, and design principles
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system reliability issues
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies
  • Serve as a technical mentor and force multiplier for engineers
  • Drive and lead architectural discussions
  • Solve highly complex technical challenges spanning performance, scalability, security, and system design
  • Partner closely with Product teams to design features from concept through production
  • Lead initiatives to improve developer experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, c-suite, and cross-functional teams
  • Champion shipping in small, complete vertical slices
  • Lead incident response efforts and champion a culture of accountability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Seven or more years of full stack software development in a Saas or technology-driven environment
  • Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue)
  • Strong front end experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Strong back-end / API experience (.NET Core)
  • Deep understanding of SQL databases and data modeling best practices
  • Familiarity with Agile framework and methodologies
  • A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts

Preferred

  • hands-on experience integrating third-party platforms such as payments (e.g., Stripe), CRM, marketing, or identity providers - including their APIs, webhooks, and event models
  • experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • familiarity with containerization and orchestration
  • a strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools
  • a passion for improving the developer workflow
  • experience with tooling automation, building internal frameworks or libraries, and improving developer documentation
