Heres who were looking for

Youre super passionate about code, software development, and tech in general. You get some of your biggest kicks from finding solutions to complex problems. You obsess over finding not just any solution, but the best solution youre capable of, and avoid crappy shortcuts that arent scalable. You take pride in keeping your code clear and modular. At any point in time you can go on vacation knowing another team member can pick up exactly where you left off.

Requirements

• WordPress Development experience
• Have knowledge in PHP, CSS, JavaScript, CSS, SASS (mid-senior level)
• Apache or Nginx
• MySQL/MariaDB or equivalent
• Develop pixel-perfect responsive layouts based on custom designs (Figma, InVision, etc)
• Create custom WP themes from scratch
• Create custom WP plugins
• Create layouts using Gutenberg blocks (Genesis Custom Blocks/Block Lab/ACF blocks)
• Knowledge of version control system (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket), and project management tools (Jira/Trello)
• Knowledge of basic Photoshop, and image optimization
• Experience in website optimization based on suggestions from PageSpeed/LightHouse/GTMetrix
• Essential to be able to provide examples of custom themes they have developed

Good To Haves

• Git (Github, Bitbucket)
• JIRA ( or equivalent project management platform )

Duties and Responsibilities

• Single-handedly finding and implementing solutions to any and all issues
• WordPress, MySQL/MariaDB and related technology development
• Daily interfacing with other members of Wesrom and (sometimes) our clients
