Responsibilities

  • Design service boundaries, data models, and REST API contracts
  • Build event-driven microservices on GCP Pub/Sub
  • Develop a webhook-triggered survey automation engine
  • Create resilient, observable services
  • Implement security and SSO integration for enterprise clients
  • Build permission and access control systems
  • Develop an integration layer connecting enterprise data sources

Requirements

  • Java understanding at the JVM level (concurrency, memory model, GC, exception hierarchy)
  • Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem depth or equivalent IoC/DI understanding
  • SQL and data modelling confidence (joins, aggregations, window functions, indexes)
  • API design instincts (versioning, error semantics, idempotency)
  • Systems thinking under failure (retries, timeouts, idempotency, consistency)
  • Experience building systems that handle real load with correctness and reliability constraints

Preferred

  • .NET / C# experience
  • GCP experience (Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery, Vertex AI)
  • Kafka or other message queue experience
  • Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Event sourcing or CQRS patterns
  • Experience with observability tooling (distributed tracing, structured logging, alerting)
