Lead and develop a team of 4 to 6 software engineers
Own hiring, performance management, growth conversations, and team culture
Set team goals and track progress against roadmap commitments
Ship high-quality software on time
Partner with product and design to prioritize engineering work
Provide technical guidance, architectural oversight, and mentorship
Lead system design efforts for scalable, secure, and cloud-native software
Oversee incident management, on-call rotations, and root cause analysis
Champion engineering practices for continuous integration, automated testing, and effective deployment
Manage resource allocation, project tracking, and status reporting
Use AI tools thoughtfully to work smarter and move faster
Bring fresh ideas to the team
Apply sound judgment when working with sensitive or regulated information
Share new tools, workflows, and productivity wins

7+ years of software development experience
2+ years leading engineering teams
Proven track record managing engineers and driving on-time technical delivery
Advanced proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Go, or C#
Experience building and operating production-grade systems at scale
Strong understanding of system architecture, scalable design, and cloud-native development
Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Working knowledge of automated testing practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Strong communication, collaboration, and sound judgment working with product, design, and business partners
