Lead strategy, execution, and engineering operations for a key Protect domain
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers
Build a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and strong technical execution
Stay close to architecture and implementation details
Partner with Product, Research, SRE, and adjacent engineering teams
Prioritize work, remove bottlenecks, and deliver scalable solutions
Strengthen engineering fundamentals including observability, incident response, quality practices, CI/CD
Use data, metrics, and technical judgment to identify systemic issues

6+ years of experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering
Direct responsibility for team leadership and delivery outcomes
Hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems in AWS and/or GCP
Familiarity in Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD
Familiarity with cloud-native engineering practices
Proven ability to lead engineers through execution
Proven ability to improve engineering processes
Proven ability to deliver reliable systems in production
Strong technical grounding in modern backend engineering
Strong technical grounding in observability
Strong technical grounding in operational excellence

Experience in fraud prevention
Experience in authentication
Experience in voice biometrics
Experience in trust and safety
Experience in related security products
Prior hands-on experience as a software, infrastructure, or platform engineer before moving into management
Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments
