About the Role

We are looking for a Sr DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role supports a leading organization in the Financial Services industry. The project is based in Denver, CO, and the company provides a platform that delivers tailored experiences for hedge funds, private equity firms, and venture capital funds.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and improving cloud-based DevOps solutions on AWS, supporting infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, monitoring, security, and deployment processes for a large-scale financial platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize DevOps solutions for cloud-based environments.
• Build and support infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Manage Kubernetes environments using EKS, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Loki, Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
• Support SOC2 compliance initiatives using AWS Inspector and GuardDuty.
• Manage AWS networking and security components, including VPC, VPN, WAF, and DNS.
• Maintain cloud services including RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache (Redis), AWS Lambda, and S3.
• Work with Git for source control and collaborate with development teams on deployment processes.
• Provide maintenance recommendations and operational support for DevOps solutions.
• Communicate effectively with executives, subject matter experts, and distributed technical teams.

Requirements

• Experience building and running cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Experience managing Kubernetes environments using EKS, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Loki, Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
• Experience supporting SOC2 compliance using AWS Inspector and GuardDuty.
• Experience managing AWS networking and security services, including VPC, VPN, WAF, and DNS.
• Experience working with RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache (Redis), AWS Lambda, and S3.
• SQL or other relational database experience.
• Experience with Git source control.
• Experience with infrastructure orchestration tools such as Terraform, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience with virtualization and container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware.
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
