Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in IT infrastructure projects, including design, deployment, and maintenance of server systems, cloud services, and virtualization platforms
- Oversee deployment of IT infrastructure components, including Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments
- Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security
- Work with the architecture team to design and implement scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans
- Script in PowerShell for automation of routine tasks and configuration management
- Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC principles and tools like Terraform
- Participate in Agile workflow methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Set up monitoring systems and tools to ensure performance, availability, and reliability
- Respond to IT infrastructure-related issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex problems
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
- Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity, and security metrics
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including setup, configuration, and management
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, such as Intune (Endpoint Manager), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Endpoint Protection Manager (EPM), and the Microsoft stack in Azure
- Experience with Veeam backup and replication solutions, including setup, configuration, and management
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/projects effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience with enterprise-level monitoring platforms (Datadog, Site24x7, etc.)
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience with server administration and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience with Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 services
- Familiarity with Terraform and DevOps practices
- Understanding of Agile workflow methodologies
