Design, train, evaluate, and ship machine learning and deep learning models
Design and implement LLM-powered applications using major model providers
Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems including chunking and vector stores
Develop agentic workflows with tool use and orchestration
Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and structured output techniques
Build and maintain robust data and feature pipelines on Azure
Productionize models with MLOps practices including versioning and drift detection
Use AI coding assistants alongside traditional manual coding
Manage source code in Git using clean branching strategies
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Deploy and operate services on Azure using containers and orchestration
Instrument AI systems with logging, tracing, and evaluation pipelines
Partner with security and compliance to address data privacy and model risk
Work with stakeholders to scope problems and choose AI sophistication levels
Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development and LLM-based systems
Conduct rigorous design and code reviews

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, ML, Data Science, Math, Stats, or equivalent
4+ years of professional software engineering experience
2+ years building and shipping ML or AI systems in production
Strong proficiency in Python and core ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy
Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based applications using Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, or OpenAI
Practical RAG and embeddings experience with at least one production vector store
Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
Solid command of Git, branching strategies, and pull-request-based code review
Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience deploying services on Azure and with Docker containerization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to thrive in a fully remote, globally distributed team
