Sr/Staff Product Engineer

The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. hireVouch is a remote-first company building a collaborative business modeling product. The Product Engineer will plan, architect, and implement the core product, build a scalable technical foundation, develop features including realtime collaboration, AI, data visualization, and frontend infrastructure, and help grow the team.

Responsibilities

• Build product - You'll be working closely with design, product, CX, and our customers to plan, architect, and implement our core product. We take big swings to build the right experience for our customers - and want someone who can do that while working iteratively to make sure we’re shipping fast
• Build our technical foundation - Work we do today can make our future work better and faster. Since our product is tackling a complex problem that each company has its own spin on, we’re building a foundation that is powerful and flexible
• Grow the team - Everyone on the early team plays an important role in attracting, closing, and growing other talented team members
• Building a brand-new modeling experience that captures our learnings of the past few years
• Building realtime collaboration tools like git-style branching, comments, and user presence
• Scaling our frontend to support a beautiful and fluid UX backed by millions of rows of customer data
• Developing AI features that take the tedium out of modeling and help customers better understand their businesses
• Best in-class data visualization and analysis tools that our customers can proudly share with their investors and employees

Skills

• An ownership mindset
• 5+ years of professional fullstack engineering experience
• A track record of building high-quality products fast
• A growth mindset
• A collaborative approach to your work
• Staff-level experience is a plus
• Working on or leading development on a large web application
• Expertise in React & TypeScript
• Expertise in Go
• Previously have been a founder or worked at startups
• Interest in taking our developer tooling to the next level (including adopting cutting-edge AI tech)
• Experience with building out product infrastructure, e.g. Vercel
