Responsibilities

Update existing Laravel-based applications
Engineer and develop new features for web applications
Manage and patch Linux servers
Build Laravel-based applications
Troubleshoot and resolve codebase and server issues
Build CMS-driven websites
Collaborate with team members for testing and QA
Share new ideas and approaches to improve projects

Requirements

5+ years of practical experience with PHP
PHP 8.x
Laravel or Symfony
Linux server administration
NGINX environments
VueJS, Svelte, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
Version control systems
AWS or DigitalOcean
Cloudflare or other CDNs
Excellent problem-solving instincts
Responsive, mobile-first development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong ownership of your work
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with PHP package development
Static analysis experience (PHPStan)
Experience with HIPAA-level compliance development
Experience with SOC 2 certification work
Experience working at an agency
Experience with Docker
Experience with Ansible
Comfortable reading a pen test report and addressing findings
Open source contributions
Hobbyist side project or homelab experience
