Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Hampton North is partnering with a Series C startup in the blockchain intelligence and financial crime prevention space, helping governments and financial institutions fight crypto-enabled fraud at scale.

$180-220k + Equity

What you'll be doing

• Building software and tooling to drive greater automation, operability, and maintenance of infrastructure services
• Using data to understand and improve availability, reliability, and sustainability of infrastructure
• Actively engaging in systems hardening and compliance including SOC2 and FedRAMP
• Working with product and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for the infrastructure team

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience working with GCP IaaS services including compute, object storage, IAM, VPC, and load balancing
• Strong Kubernetes
• Proficiency with modern Unix/Linux operating systems, preferably CentOS and Alpine
• Experience with CI/CD, containers and/or virtualization, web servers, and databases
• Experience defining SLOs/SLIs and implementing monitoring, alerting, and runbooks
• Adaptable, autonomous, and an excellent communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative approach, comfortable working cross-functionally at all levels of an organization
