Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer. This key Product role will work closely with the CPO. As a data evangelist, you will act as a thought partner to empower us to drive changes through proactive, holistic, and data-informed decision-making.

The role requires an individual with a background in a quantitative or technical field, experience working with large data sets, and data-driven decision making. You are a proactive learner and have demonstrated success in using analytics to drive the understanding, growth, and success of a product.

Responsibilities

• As a data evangelist, you will be the thought leader in data-driven decision-making.
• Democratize data by building dashboards on data tools
• Requires an individual with a background in a quantitative or technical field with experience in large and, at times, dirty data sets.
• You are a proactive learner and have demonstrated success in using analytics to drive the growth of a product.
• Develop data sets to enable operational and exploratory analysis
• Automate analysis and authoring pipelines through SQL and ETL framework (e.g., Python-based Airflow)
• Contribute to regulatory reporting submissions
• Streamline / implement data generation pipelines
• Monitor and discover trends, patterns, and root causes of changes

Requirements

• 4+ years experience with quantitative analysis
• Advanced in SQL (any variation, we use PostgreSQL)
• Experience building data pipelines (e.g., Fivetran, Airflow)
• Experience building data sources using API calls
• Enjoy an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
• Strong attention to detail and ability to approach problems in a logical and structured method
• Experience in statistical languages (R, Python)
• A degree in a relevant discipline
• Thai speaking preferred
