Job Overview

The WordPress Developer Intern will assist our development team in building and maintaining WordPress websites. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about web development practices, gain practical experience, and contribute to real projects.

• Hands-on experience in website development and maintenance for a strategic advisory business.
• Exposure to potential future platform development where you can contribute to a larger, more interactive platform focused on solving business use cases.
• Profit/Revenue sharing as compensation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and update the existing WordPress website, ensuring it is optimized for SEO, speed, and user experience.
• Implement new features and improvements as needed, including interactive elements, enhanced UI/UX, and plugin management.
• Assist with the integration of tools such as CRM systems or marketing automation platforms.
• Perform regular website maintenance, security updates, and backups.
• Work closely with the content and business development teams to ensure the site aligns with business goals.
• Knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics platform

Requirements

• Experience with WordPress, including custom themes and plugins.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization.
• Ability to work independently and suggest improvements to enhance the website's performance.
• Any experience with website security and GDPR compliance is a plus.
