Develop and maintain enterprise data models, schemas, and standards
Define data flows and integration patterns between systems, including cloud-native platforms such as Snowflake
Oversee logical and physical database design for performance and scalability
Collaborate with DBAs on optimization, capacity planning, and Snowflake performance management
Establish data quality, security, and compliance standards
Implement metadata management and maintain a data dictionary
Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data warehousing and analytics
Ensure interoperability between on-prem and cloud systems
Translate requirements into data solutions with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
Ensure data architecture meets performance SLAs and security requirements
Implement encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms across traditional DBMS and Snowflake environments
Evaluate emerging technologies (cloud, big data, AI/ML) for adoption
Recommend improvements to existing data architecture, including Snowflake optimization and new cloud capabilities
