They are seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 enterprise IT, focusing on architecture, system design engineering, and modernization efforts across the Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for MPE Architecture and System Design Engineering
• Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions
• Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership

Skills

• 8 + years of related experience
• US Citizenship Required: Yes
• Technical training/certification(s) and 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or B.S. in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience)
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams
• Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments
• Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders
• Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking
