Job Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements with business and technology stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions and data consolidation projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models to ensure high-performance data processing.
• Provide BAU and production support for existing and new data platforms, including troubleshooting ETL batch jobs and application issues.
• Identify and support the resolution of data quality issues, recommending appropriate solutions and improvements.
• Participate in system design, development, testing, performance testing, code reviews, and production deployment.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents, data dictionaries, metadata, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Ensure solutions comply with Enterprise Architecture policies, development standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical estimation and coordinate development activities to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
• Identify opportunities for system reuse, simplification, process improvement, and enhancement of product quality and productivity.
• Communicate technical risks, issues, and enhancement opportunities to project and management teams.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, business users, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL development, data consolidation, SQL, and data modelling.
• Experience in designing and developing high-performance SQL queries and data solutions.
• Experience in data quality management, data dictionaries, metadata, and process documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience supporting ETL batch jobs and data platforms in both testing and production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with business and technology teams.
• Strong project delivery skills with the ability to manage scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements.
• Experience in the financial services industry or data consolidation projects would be an advantage.
