Responsibilities

  • Manage and support production ELT pipelines and Snowflake environments
  • Handle incidents, service requests, root cause analysis, and problem management
  • Work with business and support teams to ensure SLA adherence
  • Monitor job failures, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in on-call support and release activities
  • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, design notes; deliver KT to peers and stakeholders
  • Present progress and risks to project and business teams

Requirements

  • 8–12 years total experience with 5+ years in ETL/ELT engineering
  • 1+ year hands-on Matillion
  • 2+ years building and operating Snowflake (warehouse objects, stages, tasks, streams, performance tuning)
  • 3+ years hands-on Snowflake experience including schemas, tasks, streams, stored procedures, performance tuning
  • Advanced SQL: stored procedures, functions, triggers, error handling, query tuning on large datasets
  • Experience implementing CDC patterns (batch/near real time)
  • Experience with AWS components in data pipelines (Lambda, storage/services)
  • Experience building self-service reporting solutions using BI software (OBIEE, Looker, Power BI)
  • Experience with ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management
