Quality is responsible for leading the strategic quality function across cyber security operations by driving enterprise-level governance, operational excellence, quality transformation, compliance readiness, and risk reduction initiatives. This role focuses on building scalable quality frameworks and enabling long-term operational maturity

Quality Strategy & Operating Model Leadership

  • Define and lead the enterprise quality strategy for cyber security operations.

Build scalable quality operating models across

  • SOC operations
  • Incident response
  • Threat and vulnerability management

  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Managed security services
  • Establish enterprise-wide quality governance frameworks and assurance mechanisms

Governance, Risk & Compliance Management

  • Drive governance and compliance alignment across cyber operations.

Oversee readiness for

  • Internal audits
  • External audits
  • Regulatory assessments
  • Client governance reviews
  • Establish risk-based quality monitoring and escalation frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational controls, client obligations, and regulatory requirements

  • Partner with senior leadership, cyber delivery heads, and client stakeholders on quality strategy and operational improvements.
  • Lead executive governance forums and quality review meetings.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on operational trends and risk insights.
  • Influence operational teams to drive accountability and quality culture

Reporting, Analytics & Decision Support

  • Define KPI/KRI frameworks and governance metrics.
  • Oversee executive dashboards, governance reports, and quality analytics.
  • Use trend analysis and operational insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor effectiveness of quality controls and improvement initiatives

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead and manage quality teams across multiple functions or accounts.

Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)

  • Computer Science / IT / Cybersecurity / Engineering / Information Systems

Preferred

  • MBA (Strategy / Operations / IT)
  • MSc Cybersecurity

Work experience

  • 7-10 years experience cybersecurity operations / governance
  • Extensive experience in quality / audit / operational excellence
  • Strong experience managing quality governance, operational excellence, or delivery oversight across one or more of the following cyber security service areas (4+years) -
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Experience governing IAM operations including access provisioning, access certification, SSO, WAM, federation, and role-based access controls.
  • Managed quality oversight for user access lifecycle management, compliance adherence, and audit readiness activities
  • Third-Party Security Risk Management (TPRM)
  • Experience supporting quality governance for third-party/vendor security assessments, risk monitoring, and remediation tracking.
  • Oversaw operational quality and reporting for vendor risk management, compliance governance, and risk analytics processes.
  • Managed Detection & Response (MDR) / SOC Operations
  • Experience managing quality governance for SOC operations, threat monitoring, incident response, and security investigations.
  • Led oversight of incident management quality, SLA adherence, escalation governance, and operational risk mitigation
  • Application Security (AppSec / TSA)
  • Experience governing quality processes for application security testing including SAST, DAST, SCA, and penetration testing activities.
  • Managed oversight of vulnerability remediation tracking, secure SDLC adherence, and application risk reporting
