Our client, a top-tier high-frequency trading firm, is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in low-latency systems and infrastructure to join the Hong Kong team.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance network architectures that enable rapid data transmission and low-latency trade execution for the trading systems.
• Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve network-related issues and outages to maintain uninterrupted trading operations.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive trading data and protect against cyber threats.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software developers, infrastructure teams, and traders to align network solutions with business needs.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a high-frequency trading or financial services environment.
• Deep technical expertise in network protocols, topologies, and architectures, with a focus on low-latency networks and hands-on configuration/troubleshooting of network devices.
• Deep understanding of Linux engineering and administration methods
• Detailed understanding of IP and networking concepts, familiarity with Kernel bypass techniques
• Proficiency in Infrastructure provisioning/management tools (e.g. Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Docker)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both English and Chinese
