Own architecture for AI capabilities across HotDocs
Deliver AI features from prototype to production in .NET Core and React
Lead AI adoption in the SDLC (coding assistants, agentic workflows, test generation)
Establish evaluation harnesses, guardrails, observability, and AI governance
Modernize and refactor legacy code to enable AI integration
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and pairing
Partner with product, architecture, security, and customer teams on AI roadmap
Extend CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads (prompt/model versioning, evaluation gates)
Ensure AI features solve real customer problems with great UX

12+ years professional software development, including principal/lead/staff role
Strong .NET Core (C#) and React (TypeScript) skills
Experience shipping production AI solutions (LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP, agentic systems)
Hands-on with cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry) and orchestration (Semantic Kernel)
Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
Proficiency with Entity Framework and Azure SQL (or SQL Server)
Experience evaluating AI quality (test sets, benchmarking, human review loops)
Understanding of AI-specific security (prompt injection, secure coding)
Experience with Git and modern workflows (pull requests, branching)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
Comfortable in agile teams using Jira and Confluence
Practical experience using AI tooling in the SDLC
Track record of technical leadership and mentoring

Deeper AI specialism (SLMs, fine-tuning, CAG, vector databases, AI observability, multi-agent systems)
Experience with Microsoft Office Addins (office.js / VSTO)
Familiarity with .NET Framework / WPF
Experience with authentication standards (OAuth, SSO)
Exposure to distributed caching (Redis)
Knowledge of Linux and containerization (Docker)
Scripting in PowerShell
Familiarity with performance tuning and application diagnostics
Experience with infrastructure-as-code or automation tooling
Experience in enterprise SaaS or compliance-heavy domains (legaltech, fintech)
