Responsibilities

  • Define and shape front-end UI implementation
  • Drive technical direction for front-end development
  • Define best practices and development patterns
  • Advise and mentor front-end developers
  • Innovate cloud software for life sciences
  • Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems
  • Design and implement components across application areas
  • Define framework for sharing code and components
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship
  • Design and implement pattern libraries and style guides
  • Lead code reviews to ensure code quality

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant front-end experience
  • Full-stack development experience
  • Experience defining and implementing a framework to scale across multiple enterprise web applications
  • Experience working with a modern JavaScript framework
  • Experience with HTML
  • Experience with CSS abstractions
  • Strong advocate of industry best practices and development principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven critical thinker
  • Proven record of making your team better
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States
  • Must be in the PST or MST time zone

Preferred

  • Very strong knowledge of React and its ecosystem
