Job Scope

Why does the role exist? High level purpose of function.

This role is a part of Quality Control team responsible for establishing a cell validation function to develop and execute validation plan, to identify optimized Test & Validation methodologies, enabling for a digitalized production Test & Validation function. Ensuring the sustainable scaling of the function through standardization, best practice adoption from Test & Validation Västerås and develop learning from partner testing institutes.

This role may require occasional international / domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities

Overall areas of responsibilities and activities

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Play a key role within the Quality Technology team to fully digitalize cell validation.
  • Analyse and share test results to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with Västerås departments and engineering to develop Test & Validation strategies which deliver both optimization and enable production scaling.
  • Plan, organize, direct and follow up on project-related testing activities.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to aid and improve business and operational performance, including HSE.
  • Continuously innovating and developing the Test & Validation production hub.
  • The main interface to the project and launch teams, responsible for capacity planning, reporting and escalations.
  • Work closely with the central and local Test & Validation teams to plan and optimize workflow, whilst meeting contractual obligations to the customers.
  • Support in driving the digitalization of the T&V operating model, including data driven scheduling, KPI reporting and results traceability.
  • Support projects including establishing new testing facilities, managing and documenting test specifications, and coordinating cross functionally to ensure successful execution.

Requirements

Educational background and previous experience required for the role.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a high throughput manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Product Engineer, or similar.

Specific skills and Knowledge

  • Expert user of SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to identify business objectives and set clear, measurable goals for the team to achieve the vision.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and oral, are essential. Basic Swedish and other language skills are a plus. You should have good communication skills and be able to work in close collaboration with colleagues from many different teams.
