Duties include but are not limited to

• Drive test automation strategy within the DHS ICE Agile development environment.
• Research and develop new automation frameworks.
• Create and maintain scripts for the Automation Library.
• Identify, integrate and champion new test automation tools, ideas and approaches within the test team.
• Coach and mentor other QA engineer’s on automation approaches.
• Partner with BA’s to ensure appropriate script coverage.
• Create a strategy for test automation reports and metrics.
• Provide testing strategy and QA leadership to various projects and programs within DHS.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Master’s Degree or 10-15 work related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of automated testing approaches and frameworks.
• Hands on experience scripting and developing test automation suites.
• Current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
• 4+ years working with test automation tools. (Selenium and QTP preferred).
• Experience working with Agile, waterfall and iterative methodologies.
• Excellent Analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred but not required

• DHS’ Active EOD or Suitability.
• Knowledge of other automation tools such as Cucumber, Calabash and Jenkins.
• Experience at Immigration Customs Enforcement.
• Familiar with Case Management Systems
