Work with PostgreSQL for database operations, including schema design and query optimization
Integrate with Azure OpenAI and embedding models for LLM-powered features
Write strong clean typed Python code that's production ready
Write unit and integration tests (pytest) with high coverage; participate in code reviews
Collaborate with the team on architecture decisions, code quality, and technical documentation

5 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in Python (3.10), FastAPI, and async/await patterns
Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations)
Experience integrating with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) and building AI-powered features
Understanding of vector databases/embeddings and RAG architectures
Experience with building test suites, golden data sets, and LLM evaluation
Some familiarity with LLM components such as tokenization, cache, etc.
Strong code quality practices — type annotations, linting, automated testing
Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently in a distributed team

Experience in financial services or enterprise software development is a plus
Familiarity with Pydantic, dependency injection patterns, and repository-pattern architectures is a plus
