The Role

You'll own and build the integrations that connect the platform to third-party property management systems and bespoke client systems.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role

you'll learn complex external systems quickly, scope integration work directly with customers, and take end-to-end ownership of the integration layer.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining integrations with property management systems and custom client systems
• Joining customer calls to gather integration requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Designing and shipping zero-to-one integrations for enterprise customers with proprietary systems
• Working closely with the platform and product teams to refactor and scale the system

Tech stack

Python, FastAPI, REST APIs

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as a backend software engineer
• Strong hands-on Python and FastAPI skills
• A track record of building and maintaining third-party API integrations
• Experience designing integrations — REST APIs, data modeling, and webhooks
• Startup experience (roughly seed to Series A, under 50 people) with direct, hands-on ownership of your technical work
• Customer-facing engineering experience
• A BS in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree
• Based in the NYC area and able to work a 3-day hybrid schedule near Penn Station

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to proptech or property management systems such as Yardi, Entrata, or RealPage
• Experience with agentic AI workflows or LLM tooling
