Quality Assurance Engineer

LearnTastic is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to strengthen our product quality and testing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong manual and automation testing skills, a structured approach to quality assurance, and an interest in leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual and automation testing across product features.
• Create and maintain structured test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Conduct regression, sanity, functional, and exploratory testing.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Cowork to improve test coverage, test-case generation, and testing efficiency.
• Validate user workflows, UI/UX, functionality, and edge cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the development and release cycles.
• Contribute to basic test automation for repetitive and high-priority test cases.
• Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Cowork as part of testing workflows.
• Basic understanding of automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, Agile practices, and QA best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred skills

• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium using Java and/or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications, chatbots, or conversational interfaces.
• Exposure to API testing and tools such as Postman would be an added advantage.
