As a Senior Digital Asset Data Manager, you’ll ensure that the data underpinning our critical infrastructure is accurate, accessible, and drives smarter decisions. This role is central to Heathrow’s ambition to become a fully digital airport, enabling efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across our operations.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that partners with design, delivery, engineering, operations, and technology functions to deliver data solutions that build our assets and keep Heathrow running safely and efficiently.
- Lead the development and implementation of Heathrow’s digital asset data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards to improve accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of asset information across the organisation.
- Collaborate with designers, delivery partners, engineering, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated data solutions that enhance decision-making and operational resilience.
- Oversee data quality improvement initiatives, including audits, cleansing, and validation processes, to ensure reliable asset information for critical projects.
- Provide subject matter expertise on asset data management tools and systems, driving innovation and best practice adoption.
- Report on data performance metrics and deliver insights that inform asset lifecycle planning and capital investment decisions.
- Proven experience in asset data management within a complex infrastructure or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in asset management systems and related digital tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ideal Skills
- Experience in the aviation, transport, or utilities sector.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM processes.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital asset management, such as IoT and predictive analytics.
