Responsibilities
- Design solutions and deliver complex features across product platforms
- Own end-to-end specification quality for complex features
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Lead AI-assisted implementation for complex features using tools like Claude Code
- Review AI-generated code and peer contributions for correctness and security
- Validate AI-generated tests and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Design performant software and implement REST APIs
- Support and maintain UI and backend services
- Mentor engineers on AI tool usage, spec writing, and code review practices
- Drive improvements to AI-assisted development practices within the cohort
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience in scalable SaaS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in C#, C++, PHP, Java, or Node.js
- Experience with HTML5, CSS/Sass, Angular, React, and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL
- Experience working with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
- Strong code review skills to validate AI-generated and human-written code
- Experience with source control management using Git
- Ability to design and implement REST APIs
Preferred
- Experience with spec-driven, agentic AI workflows
- Knowledge of NoSQL data stores like MongoDB or DynamoDB
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Understanding of testable application design principles
- Experience leading development process improvements or workflow optimization
