5+ years of engineering experience in JVM based secure web applications
Expert level coding skills in front & back-end Java
Java EE and/or JVM based secure web applications, LDAP
Experience in designing scalable web services.
Strong foundational knowledge and experience with JMS
Experience in deploying J2EE applications with any of the following IBM WebSphere7.0 or later
Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
Excellent team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
Creative, resourceful and innovative problem solver
Mentor and coach other team members
Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse, RAD or WDSC
Great communication skills, including active listening and comprehending system requirements
Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools
Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git, subversion, JIRA
Familiar with SOA, DB2, SQL, JDBC, (IBM development).
Spring Framework, Hibernate, Core Java
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, JQuery, JSP, JSTL, Tiles2
Proficiency in working in OS400/Unix/Linux environment
Knowledge of scripting languages
Self-taught and self-teaching, with a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skill
