Responsibilities

  • Design application and infrastructure architecture
  • Create application and infrastructure diagrams
  • Educate team members on modern topics
  • Lead application development efforts
  • Guide and mentor junior developers
  • Evaluate third-party libraries, tools, and frameworks
  • Implement and monitor application performance, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate with senior team members
  • Improve engineering processes and application performance
  • Support releases and deployments
  • Troubleshoot production issues

Requirements

  • 8+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • Expert-level proficiency with .NET, C#, and SQL Server
  • Strong frontend experience using Angular, Blazor, React, or comparable modern JS frameworks
  • Proven ability to design and secure RESTful APIs (JWT, OAuth)
  • Solid knowledge of Azure
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs
  • Experience using message queues
  • Experience with event sourcing
  • Experience with distributed architecture concepts
  • Background in application security
  • Background in performance tuning
  • Background in scalability
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Excellent mentorship skills

Preferred

  • Prior experience with modernization projects
