WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• You take on functional leadership of an international, interdisciplinary team in the area of Data Engineering & Data Architecture at our diconium data unit in Berlin, actively shaping the data-driven future of our clients.
• As a strategic sparring partner, you advise our clients at management level on the design, implementation, and further development of modern data platforms – with a strong focus on cloud-native architectures and scalable solutions.
• You are responsible for project and account management, steering complex data initiatives and ensuring maximum client satisfaction through excellent delivery.
• You continuously evolve our service portfolio, identify new data-driven business opportunities, and help expand our market position together with Sales and Product Management.
• You represent diconium externally – e.g. at conferences, through expert articles, or in customer committees – and position yourself as a thought leader in the data community.
• You foster an open, performance-oriented team culture built on ownership, trust, and growth – and you actively shape the development and expansion of our data team.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• You have profound experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and modern cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake) – ideally in complex enterprise environments.
• You have worked for several years in consulting-intensive roles – either in a consulting firm or in corporate settings with high stakeholder complexity.
• You bring leadership experience – whether disciplinary or functional.
• You can clearly communicate technical topics to different audiences – from business units to senior leadership – and guide clients confidently through transformation processes.
• You work entrepreneurially, think in solutions, and bring the drive to take responsibility and actively move things forward.
• You speak fluent German and English (minimum C1 level in both) and are confident working in international project environments.
