Responsibilities

  • Build pixel-accurate, accessible, responsive interfaces from Figma designs
  • Write clean, handcrafted CSS/SCSS using modern layout primitives
  • Develop interactive UI in Vanilla JavaScript, plus React/Next
  • Wire front-end work into Contentful, Drupal, and WordPress
  • Lean on AI tooling (Claude) to squash bugs faster and scaffold builds
  • Contribute to feature development and bug crushing
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Partner with designers, project managers, and backend developers
  • Flag blockers early and estimate work realistically

Requirements

  • Based in the United States and eligible to work without sponsorship
  • Experience working at a digital agency
  • 3+ years building modern, responsive web user interfaces
  • Strong vanilla JavaScript fundamentals
  • Working proficiency with React/Next
  • Expertise in modern CSS/SCSS best practices
  • Comfortable building from Figma
  • Familiar with modern animation libraries
  • Familiar with modern front-end build/bundling tooling (e.g. Vite, esbuild, Webpack)
  • Working knowledge of git
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of Contentful, Drupal, or WordPress
  • Knowledge of PHP
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude) to debug and scaffold

Preferred

  • Direct experience with Contentful, Drupal, or WordPress
