Architect systems and write production code for AI-native insurance products
Evaluate and modernize complex legacy systems through rebuilding or replacement
Build backend architectures supporting both fast prototypes and stable production systems
Set engineering standards including best practices, design documentation, and code reviews
Partner with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams to drive technical direction

8+ years of engineering experience with end-to-end feature ownership
Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python
Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript for frontend development
Deep architectural experience in evaluating and modernizing multi-tenant backends
Solid experience with relational database design
Proven experience shipping work using AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools
Ability to connect technical implementation to customer business problems
Strong communication skills to build trust across cross-functional teams
