Responsibilities
- Own projects end-to-end, from scope and estimates to deployment and monitoring
- Deliver robust, maintainable features with minimal oversight
- Improve reliability, test coverage, or observability on your own initiative
- Write clear design documents
- Communicate tradeoffs effectively
- Engage in respectful technical debates with cross-functional partners
- Drive design reviews
- Improve team standards
- Share knowledge proactively across the team
- Mentor junior engineers through code review, pairing, and design guidance
- Promote an inclusive learning culture
- Independently own medium to large features or systems
- Coordinate cross-team work when needed
- Make thoughtful technical decisions with end users and product outcomes in mind
Requirements
- 5+ years of applicable experience
- Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end modern web development
- Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience writing technical design documents
- Track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Contribute to team growth
- Ability to navigate ambiguity
- Make sound technical tradeoffs with business context in mind
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with production deployment
- Familiarity with building reliable systems
Preferred
- Experience with Go
- Experience with Java

- Experience with Angular
- Experience with AWS
