Manual Software Tester

Responsibilities

As a Manual Software Tester, you will

• Perform manual testing of modern web applications.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites.
• Validate new features and verify bug fixes before production releases.
• Report, track, and verify defects using Jira.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Maintain documentation for QAs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, UX designers, and other QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in backlog refinement, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to improving the overall quality assurance process and testing standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Ability to create clear, structured, and maintainable test cases and test scenarios.
• Good knowledge of SQL, including writing queries for data validation.
• Experience working with Jira or similar issue tracking tools.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or others) to support your work as a QA.
• Basic knowledge about CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub Actions.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
