Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership within a domain-aligned cohort
Own specification quality for complex features
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
Lead AI-assisted implementation for complex features using tools like Claude Code
Review AI-generated code and peer contributions for correctness and security
Validate AI-generated tests and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Drive AI workflow standards and best practices across the cohort
Create software designs that consider current and future requirements
Design and implement REST APIs
Support and maintain UI and backend services
Mentor engineers on AI tool usage, spec writing, and code review

Requirements

7+ years of relevant software engineering experience
2+ years designing and implementing enterprise SaaS systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Mastery of C#, C++, PHP, Java, or Node.js
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/Sass, Angular, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL
Proficiency in NoSQL and indexed file persistence technologies
Experience working with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
Experience with source control management using Git
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Preferred

Experience with spec-driven, agentic AI workflows
Experience establishing AI development practices or standards across teams
Understanding of testable application design principles
Track record of advising on tools and technologies to improve productivity
