Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
- Actively contribute to the ongoing software design and development process of the department.
- Assist in the development of any technical strategies as required.
- Write clear, well-commented code and verify that completed code performs as expected and the design is fully implemented.
- Review all completed tasks with quality, consistency and performance in mind.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the platform hardware, libraries, development environment, tools, and utilities.
- Support existing customer (hardware & software) systems
The successful candidate will have
Experience
- Experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, MVC and Kotlin
- Experience with Entity Framework Core using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity in front-end development using modern Angular frameworks, with strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work after hours when required
- Professional interaction skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work effectively in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile software development and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
Education
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
Years of Related Experience
Minimum 1+ years' experience in software development within a commercial environment
