Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join projects within the Healthcare & Social Services domain.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality applications, applying modern Java technologies, service-oriented architecture principles, and Agile development practices.

Experience with BelRAI is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Work with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web services.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and back-office integrations.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into effective solutions.
• Apply development best practices and coding standards.
• Write unit tests and support test-driven development.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure high-quality and reliable project deliveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and J2EE.
• Good knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with SOAP and Swagger.
• Experience with Angular 2+.
• Knowledge of JSF and JBoss.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Docker and Git.
• Experience with JUnit / Unitils or comparable testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with TestLink is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and back-office integration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to apply best practices and deliver high-quality solutions.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with BelRAI.
• Experience in the healthcare or social services sector.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience working on large-scale public-sector projects.
