Responsibilities

  • Design and review end-to-end data architectures using Azure data platforms
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate architecture solutions, tools, and design patterns
  • Develop scalable and secure data solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to guide implementation
  • Optimize performance, scalability, data quality, and cloud costs
  • Design data models and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Support large-scale data harmonization and normalization initiatives
  • Apply cloud architecture and data engineering best practices
  • Assist with automation using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise data engineering experience
  • Strong experience designing and evaluating modern data architectures
  • Experience with large-scale data harmonization and normalization
  • Expertise in Azure data platforms
  • Expertise in Databricks
  • Expertise in data modeling
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT
  • Expertise in large-scale data integration
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric
  • Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Proficiency in Azure Databricks
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency in PySpark
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL Managed Instance
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL Database
  • Proficiency in SQL Server VMs

Preferred

  • Healthcare data integration experience strongly preferred
  • Oncology domain experience is a nice-to-have
