Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Python programming and Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell)

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins (job creation, pipeline configuration, automation)

Working knowledge of REST API design, implementation, and integration

Experience creating automated jobs and workflows

Data Governance

Understanding of access control principles and implementation

Knowledge of data cataloging concepts and practices

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements

Soft Skills

Demonstrated adaptability and commitment to continuous learning

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environments

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational workflows

Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes

Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs to enable seamless automation and system integration

Implement and maintain data governance practices, including access control mechanisms and data cataloging processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions

Monitor and troubleshoot automated jobs and pipelines to ensure reliability and performance

Document automation processes, procedures, and best practices

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)

Working Understanding of configuration management tools (Terraform)

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

2-4 years of relevant experience in automation, DevOps, or software development roles
