The opportunity
Our client is a healthcare technology company at the forefront of clinical AI innovation, dedicated to transforming real-world clinical practice through intelligent, user-centered design. They are looking for a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to shape the user experience of clinician- and patient-facing interfaces across their product suite, including Clinical Interact. In this role, you will translate strategic design direction into clear, accessible, and implementation-ready interfaces, collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, AI, and clinical experts, and help build intuitive, personalized, and scalable experiences that empower healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes.
About the organization
Our client is a mission-driven healthcare technology organization specializing in clinical AI innovation. It helps healthcare providers and patients navigate complex clinical data through intelligent, user-centered design. The design team is currently focused on scaling their product suite, ensuring that dense clinical information—such as ranked findings and knowledge-graph-driven insights—is presented with clarity and precision under time-sensitive conditions.
What you will do
- Own the design of intuitive, high-fidelity interfaces for clinician- and patient-facing screens, translating complex clinical data into clear, effective visual hierarchies.
- Deliver clean, developer-ready handoffs in Figma, including detailed specs, redlines, component states, and interactive prototypes for front-end engineering teams.
- Partner with the UX SME, engineering, AI, and clinical teams to integrate usability feedback, clinical insights, and real-world testing findings into iterative design improvements.
- Extend and maintain the design system by leveraging and contributing to color tokens, typography, component libraries, and design tokens to ensure consistency across the product suite.
- Design for dynamic personalization models, including variable content density, tile states, and adaptive content prioritization, to ensure usability across diverse clinical and patient contexts.
- Identify and address usability bottlenecks in high-information environments, ensuring that interfaces remain accessible and efficient even under time pressure.
What you bring
- Demonstrated ability to design data-dense interfaces in complex domains such as clinical software, dashboards, financial systems, or similar high-information environments, shown through a portfolio of shipped products and real-world impact.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including auto-layout, component variants, design systems, and dev-mode handoff workflows.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG AA compliance, with practical application in design decisions.
- The ability to work collaboratively across engineering, AI, and clinical functions in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- 3–5 years of professional UX/UI design experience.
- Preference for candidates based in the Middle East or within the GMT+3 to GMT+8 timezone range.
Helpful, but not essential
- Experience designing for healthcare, clinical workflows, or medical software environments.
- Familiarity with design tokens, design-system architecture, and scalable component design beyond static screen layouts.
- Demonstrated ability to design adaptive, context-aware, or personalized interfaces that account for varying user needs and clinical contexts.
