Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Encompass customizations
- Build and enhance Encompass SDK-based plugins
- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs
- Configure and manage custom forms, input forms, field triggers, and data mappings
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders
- Integrate Encompass with external systems
- Ensure application performance, security, and compliance
Requirements
- 8+ years of development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Encompass (Ellie Mae / ICE Mortgage Technology)
- Proven experience in Encompass SDK / Plugin development (C#, .NET)
- Proven experience in Developer Connect APIs & web services integration
- Proven experience in Business rules, workflows, and configuration within Encompass
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, Web APIs, SQL Server
- Experience with event-based scripting, field triggers, and custom calculations
Preferred
- Experience working in US Mortgage / Banking domain
- Exposure to Agile/DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, HMDA)
- Prior experience leading small teams or mentoring developers
