Backend Service Engineer - Neuraverse (human)

Your Mission & Challenges

• You own application-level cloud services end-to-end — designing, building, and integrating business-critical third-party systems into the Neuraverse platform.
• Design and build cloud services and microservices for product-facing workflows.
• Integrate and operate third-party systems such as payment, metering/billing and ERP.
• Implement e-commerce and monetization workflows, including the full transaction lifecycle and reconciliation.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and security of the services you build, in production.
• Contribute to API design, architecture decisions, and technical strategy.

What we can look forward to

• Strong software engineering foundation (Go, Python or TypeScript).
• Proven experience designing and building cloud services and microservices.
• Familiarity with agentic AI development practices.
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs.
• A solid grasp of business logic – you understand the domain, not just the code.
• Experience with API design and building reliable, scalable, secure services.
• Comfortable taking technical lead on a project or mentoring other engineers.
• Bonus: payment/billing systems, ERP integration (Business Central/Dynamics), event-driven architecture, AWS serverless and microservices architecture.
• Strong English communication skills; German is a plus.
